As we are mostly back into normality and events have been running at full steam in recent months, we find ourselves attending more and more networking events once again. Inevitably, the question of ‘What do you do?’ needs answering on a regular basis and the standard response has been well polished over the years. However, when it comes to the part where we introduce one of our key strengths – designing BESPOKE COCKTAILS – it seems to confuse a lot of people.
And why is that?
Well, for one the word bespoke has been used (and abused) by many across the industry in recent times. Everything at high-end events is bespoke these days – the food, the flowers, the setup and so on – you can see a recurring trend here.
When we talk about bespoke cocktails, we mean a cocktail that is designed for that one specific occasion, never served before and will never be served after. Once we support this with real-life examples, usually the fog is lifted.
So let us show you what do we mean by bespoke drinks design:
Movies
Cocktails can be inspired by particular movie characters, iconic scenes, a signature colour scheme or simply a memorable symbol that appears.
Specific Sprits
Do you have a favourite spirit? Every brand and every product is different and drinks can be tailor-made to enhance the key flavour notes of your chosen one.
Art Piece
Believe it or not, we have created cocktails inspired by paintings in the past and it is not necessarily limited to the colour and texture but also putting the feelings and emotion of that piece in a glass.
Holidays
This may be the easiest to imagine. Celebrations like Christmas, Easter and Halloween are always a great opportunity to create drinks that are inspired by their traditional flavours and fit right in with the celebrations.
Event Theme
Whether it is Alice in Wonderland, Forest or Apothecary – a themed event is screaming for custom-designed drinks that blend in with the décor, food and uniforms.
Private Occasions
Some clients are very specific and the name or a specific symbol needs to be a running theme across the whole event. Unique and personalised garnishes are great ways to make cocktails part of this.
And there you have it. This is just a small scoop of what do we mean when we talk about bespoke cocktails but hopefully enough for you to have a better understanding.
